Autobiographical Videos
The first weeks of school are when both students and teachers
get to know each other. To help everyone introduce themselves, try using short
videos created on Animoto for Education
(http://animoto.com/education). Have students
select eight to ten images that are important to them or represent things that
they are excited about. Let them select the music that matches the message they
want to send to the class about themselves within the program. Don't forget to
create a video about yourself. When all of the videos are ready, have a little
viewing party in your classroom.
Blue Projected Image/No Signal
If having trouble getting your laptop image to show up from the
projector, onto your SB, push the Fn+F7 keys at the same time. A box will pop
up. Choose the 2nd option down called Current Projector, Mirror.

Capzles
Capzles: http://www.capzles.com/
Here is another form of storytelling The upside is that it includes cool design options, background music, photos and text. Just click on each picture to read about it. The downside is that it can not be narrated and the blog feature at the end doesn't always work. There is a free signup, but someone with an email account would have to do that. I don't yet know if several students can work under the same account name at the same time. But, just another idea to view. Here is an example of one that I did.
